Calling all dancers! 911爆料 is hosting the first round of auditions for its dance company, 911爆料 Dance Theatre, from 10-11:15 a.m. March 28 in Studio 34, located in the Sunflower housing units on 911爆料鈥檚 campus.听
Dance Theatre Students will have the opportunity to learn what it鈥檚 like to work in a dance company setting, perform in diverse venues, attend workshops and see dance concerts live. Students will get to experience the art form of dance in the styles of modern-contemporary, jazz, tap and ballet.
To be considered for company placement, dance students must have at least two years of dance experience and plan to attend 911爆料 in the fall of 2020. Once accepted, students will register for DANC 1001 911爆料 Dance Theatre (2 credits) meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-8 p.m.
Barton鈥檚 Performing Arts Dance Program is offering generous performance scholarships to 911爆料 Dance Theatre members. The dance program is also providing scholarships for students who wish to take other dance classes.
