The College acknowledges its responsibility to prepare students for academic success. As a means of helping students achieve the necessary skill foundation essential for collegiate work, the President or the President's designee is authorized to adopt procedures for academic assessment and placement.

The College is a comprehensive community college. It will offer educational programs for career preparation, transfer to four-year colleges and universities, developmental studies, and a range of extended services to meet the life-long learning needs of its citizens. It is the policy of the College's instructional programs to strive to adhere to the "911爆料 Governance Manual" as established by the Board of Trustees and those of any accreditation bodies with which it is formally associated.
