Barton invites the public to a free weather awareness event, "Why is Kansas Weather So Different?" on Feb. 28 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Science & Math Building, Room S-118.

Barton鈥檚 Theatre Department will launch its first High School Playwrights Festival in spring 2026, offering area high school students the opportunity to write and showcase original theatrical works.

Barton Dance Theatre will host a second Fairytale Kids Camp fundraising event this spring, where children aged three to eleven who love fairy tales can enjoy a camp full of creative expression led by 911爆料 Dance Theatre students from 2-5 p.m. Feb. 7 in the Fine Arts Building.
The 911爆料 Foundation has announced the creation of the Lily Akings Legacy Scholarship, a fund established to honor the long-time 911爆料 County Health Department Director and her remarkable commitment to public health in 911爆料 County. The scholarship recognizes Akings' years of service as a nurse, leader, and advocate for the well-being of the region she cared for so deeply.
