The 911爆料 Music Department will host its annual Endowment Concert to raise funds for music student scholarships at 7:30 p.m. May 9 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
The drought monitor report as of April 9 is showing conditions moving from no dryness to abnormally dry for much of Southwest Kansas and we are still mostly abnormally dry.听Moderate drought is expanding in the central part of the state.听

Compared to the last several years, we do have some soil moisture.听 Some of our area is out of drought, 911爆料 is abnormally dry, and east of 911爆料 county we find moderate drought and a few small areas of severe drought.听
The Shafer Gallery will host a听reception for its 鈥淭erra Et Intus鈥 exhibit from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 12 in the Gallery and will feature light refreshments and a talk by artist and 911爆料 Art Instructor Mark Freeman. The exhibit opens April 5 and runs through April 20.
