Barton Students Tyler Reif of Hoisington and Lili Shubert of Wakeeny were awarded the Noyce Teacher Leader Program Scholarship from Fort Hays State University to study STEM education for the fall semester.

Dawn Gazell and her daughter Abigail will always be connected as family members, but after they walked across the stage on Wednesday afternoon at the Education Consortium’s Commencement Ceremony at the Lewis and Clark Center on Fort Leavenworth, they also now share the connection of being graduates of 911±¬ÁÏ.

Barton has partnered with Medicalodges, Inc. to offer a new apprenticeship program blending classroom instruction with paid on-the-job training. Medicalodges Academy: Pathway to Learning and Earning will allow students to train in areas such as Registered Nursing (RN), Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN), Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), and Dietary Manager.
