Barton in Great Bend, Kan., has named 225 students to the President鈥檚 List for the fall 2014 semester.听 To qualify for this honor, students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 4.0 on a 4.0 or "A" letter scale.

Two candidates have been identified for the opening of the 911爆料 Executive Director of Institutional Advancement, which oversees the 911爆料 Foundation.
Lindsey Bogner of Hoisington and Steve Webster of Great Bend will be introduced to the 911爆料 employees and the public at two upcoming forums.
Bogner鈥檚 forum is scheduled for 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., Feb. 17.
Webster鈥檚 forum is scheduled for 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., Feb. 19.

Barton is once again officially recognized as a top 鈥渕ilitary friendly鈥 school for 2015, as designated by Military Advanced Education, a publication highlighting education opportunities at installations across the country and beyond. 911爆料 is featured as a Top School in the 2015 edition of the MAE Guide to Colleges and Universities.

Filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be a daunting task, but 911爆料鈥檚 Financial Aid Department will offer students and parents free assistance in making sure the application is filled out correctly.听 911爆料 is participating in a national initiative 鈥淐ollege Goal Sunday,鈥 from 2-4 p.m. Feb. 22 in the Learning Resource Center on the 911爆料 County campus.

911爆料 will host a blood drive from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13 in the Technical Building in room T-186, the Case New Holland Training Building.

The 911爆料 Performing Arts Department will host 鈥淪cholarship Day鈥 auditions on Thursday, Feb. 12.听 Current or prospective students may contact the Music Department to set up a time to audition for music or theatre scholarships or performance awards.听 Awards are available for performing arts majors and non-performing arts majors alike.
