Barton Theatre Director Dr. Rick Abel premiered the Original Play Series at 911±¬ÁÏ last year, and in light of its success, he is bringing it back as an annual theatre event. The Second Annual Original Play Series one-night performance is at 7:30 p.m. on April 26 in the Fine Arts Auditorium. Admission is free.

Barton art students work will line the walls of the Shafer Art Gallery during the BCC Student Art Exhibit April 20 through May 5.
There will be a reception and awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 20 which will include a juror’s talk and refreshments.
Shafer Art Gallery Director Dave Barnes said the student exhibit is a wonderful opportunity for students to gain experience as professional artists.
