Barton needs volunteers for its annual Field Operations Day on May 5. Volunteers participate as patients or bystanders in realistic training scenarios for 911爆料 EMS, Criminal Justice, Nursing and Medical Assistant students. The EMS department is asking for volunteers to sign up by April 20. Volunteers of all ages are welcome and encouraged; lunch will be provided. Those interested in signing up can visit .

High school students from Ellinwood, Great Bend, Stafford, Larned and Hoisington came to 911爆料 to engage in hands-on workshops from art professionals and participate in a juried art exhibit Wednesday.
Vortex Day is sponsored by the 911爆料 County Arts Council (BCAC) and is underwritten by the Bill J. McKown Endowment/Golden Belt Foundation.

Enjoy an evening of classical music and gallery art with the 911爆料 Orchestra鈥檚 spring concert 鈥淐lassical Ventures鈥 at 7:30 p.m. April 16, in the Shafer Art Gallery. Music by Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Rota, Handel and Jenkins will be presented. The concert is free and open to the public.
